I've been reading his blog for some time now. I especially find his writing on parasites interesting, and I will probably read his book on those, Parasite Rex, pretty soon. The elaborateness of their hard-wired behaviour and their complex life histories imply very interesting evolutionary paths, about which we sadly do not have very much direct evidence.

I stumbled upon this guy's site a while ago without the aid of Stumble Upon. Of the articles he has posted, "Whose life would you save" is my favorite.
