Yes. Yes, it is. I've been stuck inside for so many months that I can feel a case of rickets coming on. Here in central Manitoba there are days when I go outside and feel like my eyeballs are going to get frostbite. Enough already! I'm pining for Spring.

Well, it's not quite this bad...but almost! ;-)
Actually, one of my biggest pet peeves (no pun intended) is that so many people around here leave their
dogs outside year round!!! WTF??? It pains me to no end when I see it. Why get a pet if you're going
to leave it outside to suffer the agony of loneliness in -40 C?!?!?! Truly, it makes me want to claw their
eyes out. They should be slapped silly, stripped naked, and chained to a pole 'til their ass hair solidifies.

- shudro sent me this. she is correct. this weekend, at my parents' place, it was +2 when i flew in, and lightly snowing. by 1am it was -43 and stayed that way for a day and a half. then, in about 4 hours, it went to +3. then to -9 and blizzarding. fucking northern canada.
