adventurerneil discovered 19 months ago- Wow! Awesome film showing how a model is "made" and then edited to get on beauty billboards and such. Watch.

DumberThanPaint rated 7 weeks ago- While I've seen this before, more people need to see it.

Jessica-H rated 7 weeks ago- Old... but still a really nice film talking about how our view of beauty is distorted, the effects of the media (and photoshop!) on society, etc etc... you know.

joyousdawn rated 7 weeks ago- "No wonder our perception of beauty is distorted"

mayan80 rated 7 months ago- I've seen this clip before, but it's effect is powerful. I commend Dove for their real beauty campaign.

ilovethelakes rated 8 months ago- Real beauty is better than fake

HappyJess rated 8 months ago- I agree! The Fashion Industry should be ashamed of themselves.

- Dove's campaign for real beauty. For once, a billion-dollar corporation not trying to fool us into buying their products, and actually cares about the mental and emotional well-being of their customers. This is why I eat Dove bars. (kidding)

daisy310 rated 9 months ago- And we wonder why so many women have self-image problems...

shetango rated 14 months ago- If you haven't seen, go see. Now. We are saturated with an estimated 2000+ professionally generated images per day. It's obvious that the images don't look like the real people who surround you. This short film shows WHY thy don't look like you. I really support Dove's campaign for 'real beauty' in advertising. Are they getting a marketing lift from it? Yes, but it will benefit the self-esteem of millions of women in the process...it's a real win-win.
