Hillbert rated 21 months ago- I don't know a lot about the Dove real beauty campaign, but I guess the gist of it is, that when we see models in magazines and billboards that inst a realistic ideal for beauty. This short video shows the transformation of a common woman to supermodel. The whole process from hair, makeup, and then computer alteration, and airbrushing. They actually don't say transformation they say evolution. There is some truth in this, real people aren't perfect, we all have some part of us that wed like to change. The models aren't perfect either,so people shouldn't strive for that picture perfect ideal.

- I have really mixed feelings about this stuff. This is the same (multinational) company that suggests that your armpits need mosturising because "they are skin too". I suppose if it gets some people to think and see beyond the pictures that will be something but it doesn't stop people being saturated by unreal images.
