The "war on drugs" is a failure...i get it and i think most people do as well, but this op-ed piece is not really different from other types of fear-mongering. It's like saying "You will die one day." Well, no shit...if you really fear the government so much, draw your swords and do something...otherwise, stop talking foolishness. You do have the freedom to choose whether or not you want to buy/sell/do drugs...you also have to face whatever consequence of such action whether it's feeling all warm and fuzzy by saying no, getting clowned by your peeps for being a "busta", getting nicely toasted, making a few bucks, getting beat down or capped by a competitor, going to jail/rehab, etc. People act like they don't have the right to make a choice...you do. People just need to learn how to deal with what comes next...

The position of the drug warriors is that you should be in jail if you decide to do something with your body that they don't approve of. "

I've never been one much for drugs because I want my mind clear. But that's the thing. It should be my choice. My body, my mind, my life, my choice.
