Reviews of this website

Caravaggio discovered 45 months ago- A site full of beauty and realism.. I throughly enjoyed browsing thru these portraits!

j00wish rated 17 months ago- Beautiful paintings that you should take some time browsing through. FYI: Someone REALLY should have changed the 'children's-books' tag by now. *annoyed*

elliotroberts rated 19 months ago- Cali Rezo's use of colour and detail in shading is very inspiring. The making of section is very interesting too, I love it when artists show the progession of their work, more should do the same.

aufziehvogel rated 22 months ago- Very nice portfolio of digital illustration and painting. See the Making Of section, too.

voodoou rated 22 months ago- Beautiful digital paintings, illustration and graphic design by Cali Rezo.

Delysid rated 23 months ago- As if French women weren't beautiful enough already, they now turn out to have been cross-breeding with elves, judging from the hallucinatory subtle distortions of anatomy in artist Cali Rezo's gorgeous digital portraits -- mostly of beautiful French women such as herself and their adorable offspring. These elegant mutants' most arresting feature is their anatomically incorrect eyes -- huge, lustrous orbs, full of soul and mystery, and utterly compelling demonstrations of the principle embraced by animators from Disney to Japanese anime -- humans are suckers for things with big eyes. Within reason -- Gollum takes it a bit too far. Cali Rezo, however, gets it just right, as in this self-portrait (with eye detail). The website includes a great description of how she digitally paints her unsettlingly realistic portraits of magical humanoids, using photographs as a reference.

Some nice paintings. One or two nods towards the work of Gustav Klimt. Some rather blatant! Nice paintings all the same!
