The oil moguls have held the World to ransom for a long time. Their "old buddy" approach has seen them work "cosy arrangements" where their pricing certainly doesn't suggest any real competition between companies. Little wonder in the face of crippling prices Worldwide the oil companies have posted mind-blowing profits. They tend to be a law unto themselves.
