fpsnetwork discovered 2 months ago- Stupid Cable companies..

TCZapper rated 2 months ago- Gah. Canada's internet providers suck :( Bell, Rogers, Telus, Cogeco.

eskimowarlord rated 2 months ago- From the page: "Multiple carriers in North America are now either employing or considering monthly caps where users pay per gigabyte should they "over eat." But the move begs a number of questions. Not least of which is whether opening the door to overage fees invites a broadband future where ISPs use the nebulous specter of "excessive use" as a new piggy bank -- and as a pre-emptive weapon against competing content."

arleas rated 2 months ago- 250 gigs per month is reasonable... to get that kind of use I would have to average about 8 gigs or so every single day... I think I probably use much less than that...
However, I think that, the fact that they're putting limits at all will turn customers away. I think that Comcast may just spell the end of cable internet... FiOS will take over and everyone will be like "Remember when they used to try and control your useage? LOL!!"- 250 gigs per month is reasonable... to get that kind of use I would have to average about 8 gigs or so every single day... I think I probably use much less than that...

- Don't they realized how easy it is to steal someone else broadband? It' would suck if you had to pay for the hacker next door. I agree with Gorbichov...GOOGLE PLEASE SAVE US!!

ddrose734 rated 2 months ago- Dammit, when you find something fun, someone comes along and charges you out the asss for it. The world is full of greedy people.

Aa1usa rated 2 months ago- World don't let this happen

marco1173 rated 2 months ago- There's only one solution to the cable companies' monopolistic control over the market: Competition.
