IT'S TRUE I've always known this since I was a kid experimenting in the dark. Try going in a pitch black room - like a washroom with no windows. Take your regular scotch tape and peel really fast - you'll see a short burst of brief faint light where the tape becomes loose from the roll. TRY IT NOWW!!
