It's a good point. I'm heartily sick of having to code websites (and CSS in particular) twice - once for regular web browsers, and then a second time to cope with IE6, and its abject disregard for web standards.

IE6 sucks, but developing a site for it sure beats flipping burgers or mopping shit off some bathroom floor.

guys get over this IE6 bullshit crap. it came out back in 2000. that is when netscape 4 was out. that is over 9 years ago already. Firefox didn't even exist back then. so get fucking over it. IE6 was the best browser for its time when it came out. there is no denial. so fucking grow up. microsoft doesn't even support IE6 anymore. they have something else called IE8. i guess you can't bitch about that one. fucking idiots.

"Take it out behind the shed, and shoot it" My thoughts exactly. Given that Microsoft isn't even supporting it anymore, I don't see why anyone else should. (At least not for free anyway)

From the page: "This isn't about being anti-Microsoft, it's about Microsoft's lack of development in the browser market. With IE7/8 not available for Windows 2000, IE6 accounts for up to 20% of web usage, primarily via business users. Clients pressure designers to "force" sites to work in IE6, and designers, not wanting to lose business, comply, using hacks and workarounds. This wastes time and money. Microsoft needs to fix this, designers need to unite, and we all need to move on."
