I must express my complete agreement with your sentiment, Mr. Luther.

Though some reasonable theists might disagree, by the definition of those terms, this is true. Thing is, athiests are having so much fun just living their lives, hopefully being of service to others, they don't bother to get together en masse and make asses of themselves. For this reason, they are able to be hated with abandon by everyone. No, I don't think we need to band together - I think we need to get everyone to band together over something that's of real concern, such as eliminating poverty. Then again, I'm of the opinion there'd be less hate if there were more farm work, but that's just me. A good day's real work would do a lot of people some damn good. Then again, never underestimate the power of a catchy soundtrack.

This is apparently a Martin Luther quote. Interesting that he makes a point for the atheists.

It's a good thing that one church speaks for an entire religion.

"Reason is the greatest enemy that faith has; it never comes to the aid of spiritual things, but more frequently than not struggles against the divine Word, treating with contempt all that emanates from God" - Martin Luther... But really, fuck that noise, logic and reason ftw.
