by far and away the bestest media center software i've ever seen. blows xbmc away, and i've been an xbmc fan for year. this project truly shows the power of open source.

I can't wait until the internet completely replaces Cable television... The internet is already better for watching shwos imo so its only a matter of time. :D

It supports Web 2.0 multimedia services like Hulu, Netflix, CBS, and flickr; and other rich, multimedia Internet content.The big question is whether boxee will also be release as a widget that can be installed in Internet enabled HDTVs (which should hit the market in late 2009).

Boxee gives you a true entertainment experience to enjoy your movies, TV shows, music and photos, as well as streaming content from websites like Hulu, Netflix, CBS, Comedy Central, Last.fm, and flickr.
