 tisstupid rated 18 months ago- This article mentions a push by congress to require the Pentagon to assess the security implications of climate change. This seems to be an attempt to misuse defense funds and resources to support the political movement of climate change.According to Ross Feinstein, climate change is something that has already been taken into consideration when assessing national defense. The difference is that now congress wants to waste resources that could be preventing nuclear proliferation and terrorism to buttress a political movement.From the page: "Ross Feinstein , a spokesman for the director of national intelligence, said that intelligence analysts have studied global warming in the past but in a limited way. Greater priority, he said, has been given to what are considered more pressing threats to security, such as nuclear proliferation, global terrorism, and the war in Iraq."
