- What's the big deal? Even if pot is proven not to have a significant effect, who is it hurting that the guy is smoking it? Does his smoking pot steal life, liberty, or money from you? The "war" on drugs has been proven by countless people much smarter than I to be completely and utterly ineffective and little more than a giant pit that we Americans throw Trillions (yes trillion, that's 1000 billion) of dollars in every year. Many studies have also indicated that it would cost far less and be much more beneficial to legalize drugs and use the money we pissed away on rehab programs. The immediate benefit would be that non-violent offenders would be let out of jail relieving an overburdened criminal system, the gangs and thugs would be put out of business lowering the crime rates in many areas, and education/rehab programs would help those who need the help. The argument that once its legal everyone will run out and do them is ignorant beyond all comprehension. There will be a small handful who do and there will be treatment available for them. Other countries (Denmark comes to mind) have made soft drugs legal and don't seem to have the issues everyone fears. Grow up America and get your head out of your asses!

- I love seeing Cali getting slapped in the face... they could use a few more. Weed has no effect. All the studies to try and prove its effects are exactly that; Biased and non-objective. I don't trust the FDA's view of it, but countless other studies with real scientific method have consistently show there is no benefit. You're just a stoner... deal with it.
