- While CEO of C-SPAN between 1989 - 2004, calm, prepared and always engaging Brian Lamb interviewed an astonishing number of "contemporary non-fiction authors for one hour, discussing their books, their research, and their lives." On this site you can search through his archive of 500 of the resulting 800 interviews. You can narrow your search by category scroll through choices then read the entire transcripts or elect to see the video of a particular subject. Each one embodies what an excellent interview looks like. He did it consistently and he makes it look easy. This archive is a treasure.
