eddiehuff rated 3 months ago- This woman really knows her stuff. If you're dealing with someone like this, please heed this advice. If you know someone in this kind of situation, please do whatever you can to help them get out of it. Sociopaths are life-ruiners, and the negative effects of their horrible behavior ripple out to everyone in their vicinity -- and their victims' vicinity.

Aeneas101 rated 5 months ago- A good interview with the author of "The Sociopath next door", which is a great and easy read. Martha Stout uses the label sociopath for what would really best be classified as psychopaths whose key defining factor is the absence of conscience. From the page: "An Interview with Martha Stout How do you spot a sociopath? A sociopath has no conscience, no ability to feel shame, guilt or remorse. Since 1 in 25 ordinary Americans is a sociopath, you almost certainly know one or more than one already. How can you recognize him or her?"
