Anyone who would deny you access to information is someone who sees himself as your master. You burn a book around me, I'll punch you square in the face. While I might very well disagree with the content, the destruction of information (or opinion) is one of the highest sins on my list. Remember the Library of Alexandria?

I think that he is doing the right thing whether or not your school believes you are or aren't....freedom of press is a fundamental right in this country and to have people tell you that you cannot have a book is really being fascist since it is our right to utilize books as we see fit. this is a right that we should absolutely exercise and ANY law that bans a book is an illegal law

awesomeness. my english teacher made my class do a banned book report which entailed picking a book from the banned list, reading it and doing a presentation to the class on your opinions of it and if you thought it should be banned or not.
