The really interesting thing about this aside from the retro kitsch is that they fitted 74 mins of music into 1.4Mb (and at various bit rates) that's a remarkable compression ratio compared to mp3 is it not?

I want to hear this. The album's compressed onto a floppy disk, taking advantage of the changed sound quality. Apparently it sounds best when listened to on a computer with a subwoofer. That's no problem, except I'd have to install a drive for that disk. heh.

From the page: "A UK band called Batch Totem has released a 74-minute album compressed down to fit on a 1.4MB, 3.5" floppy disk. Who need vinyl nostalgia?"
