ChiefFamilyOfcr discovered 2 months ago- I have always increased my 401(k) contribution once a year, right after I get my annual raise. That way, I don't miss the money. But I love Blunt Money's idea of slowly increasing the contribution amount so that the decrease in take-home pay isn't really noticed. The frog analogy is pretty funny too.
