patoloco rated 9 days ago- Why do I keep picturing the costume making scene from "Mystery Men"?

dellenm rated 3 weeks ago- The last one was the most accurate statement, I have already forgotten all the thought-provoking, deep, meaningful, philosophical statements listed here. Darn shame, that's life.

Ausearth rated 6 weeks ago- remeber this

anamano rated 6 weeks ago- good points

gomezzzza rated 6 weeks ago- Fairly true, pretty juvenile, but somewhat entertaining.

massblind rated 7 weeks ago- Ten rules for being a human? All I can see are feeble assumptions and ideas written by a poetic fucktard. From the page: "Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself." Ignoring the fact that it's written like shit, other people are not mirrors of me; mirrors are mirrors of me. I can easily hate something about another person without it reflecting something that I hate about myself. For example: The author is an idealistic fool trying to pass off silly poetry as a fact of life. Does this reflect on me? Fuck no. From the page: "Your answers lie within you. The answers to life's questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust." Never in the history of medical procedures, has the answers to life's questions appeared inside somebody during an operation. Believe me, I looked it up. And all I've heard coming from the inside of myself are grumbling or gurgling noises. I have not received any answers from that. Sure, I'm taking all of this literally. But if they are rules for being human, then I should take this literally. These are fucking facts of life. I would point out the rest of this bullshit, but I've simply "forgotten all of this".

childofthought rated 8 weeks ago- Nice. This was a good read for the last thing after a long productive day... "Lessons are repeated until they are learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson."

brightdawn1891 rated 8 weeks ago- A way of life.

boo12998 rated 8 weeks ago- This is the way I live my life....Didn't know that they had made a list of ten... Ten Rules for Being Human by Cherie Carter-Scott 1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it's yours to keep for the entire period. 2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called, "life." 3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial, error, and experimentation. The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiments that ultimately "work." 4. Lessons are repeated until they are learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson. 5. Learning lessons does not end. There's no part of life that doesn't contain its lessons. If you're alive, that means there are still lessons to be learned. 6. "There" is no better a place than "here." When your "there" has become a "here", you will simply obtain another "there" that will again look better than "here." 7. Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself. 8. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours. 9. Your answers lie within you. The answers to life's questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust. 10. You will forget all this.
