Good idea, but kinda useless..Seriously if your that paranoid about protecting your data, and allowing random people in your local area network.. DONT PUT UP A ACCESS POINT!! Yeah wireless sniffers can pick up APs that don't broadcast their SSID, and I can see how this may be a better solution but.. How about getting a separate AP that does broadcast, and give the novice hacker a honey pot network. Because a hardcore hacker would of rootkit one of your nodes and doesn't need the wireless signal to get your data...
