Beside the washer was a 1st rince and 2nd basin of just water.You'd wash a load of whites first and after wringing they went into the 1st rince. the soapy water was still good for a load if colored or 2 and still OK for towels and even lastly say the bathroom floor rug/mat.

As time was then, it was okay, but it was not all happines, mom in the kitchen, dad going at work, children with happpy faces - there was a lot of peopel that did not have a home, could not cook a meal an so on. Life was a bit more simpel, but at that time we also had a lot to thing of - war, rockers, thiefs an so on. A good time, but I do not want to chance. Memories are fine to me.
