Well they do somewhat compare apples to apples here... but each phone is a different flavor with and everyone has different tastes.

That total cost of ownership takes your breath away, doesn't it? A bigger shocker would the be the cost of your car over a similar time period.

Which is why I have the Palm Pre, and make my own apps, and write my own shell scripts, etc.

Great comparison of price differences. The iPhone still wins in terms of apps so I'm thinking of just going for a regular cell/iPod Touch combo.

Good comparison. I scoured the net last night for something like this, I bought the HTC Magic (G1) today and THEN stumbled this. I think I made the right choice :D
