Budoshu rated 2 weeks ago- YEMEN, gorgeous pics... Thx flintanderson. "A warrior is only a man, a humble man. He cannot change the designs of his death. But his impeccable spirit, which has stored power after stupendous hardships, can certainly hold his death for a moment, a moment long enough to let him rejoice for the last time in recalling his power. We may say that that is a gesture which death has with those who have an impeccable spirit." - Don Juan - (Carlos Castaneda's Journey to Ixtlan)

barbannco rated 5 months ago- What a wonderful site...I wish I could see many more from there, this picture in particular I liked.

katte rated 13 months ago- This picture moved me because, even amid the other photographs of children with guns and guitars made of cereal boxes and things that would twinge your heart, there is still colour and life and the slightest of shy smiles. It's a reassuring thought.

wolveseatdogs rated 13 months ago- Great photos on this site, and this girl is just loveable

The people of the Middle East. No matter their nationality, ethnicity, or religion... they are people too. It's easy to forget this, seeing the news about bombings in Baghdad or another IED blowing up in Afghanistan. Nonetheless, we need to protect ourselves against insidious stereotypes and remember they don't apply to everyone.
