falcon62 discovered 28 months ago- Something that didn't make the news. It's a goot thing we've got the internet or all we'd ever hear about Iraq Guantanamo and Abu Girab. Here's a great story about the courage of one Marine. I don't know how many lives he saved but this guy rocks.

fizzdogs rated 15 months ago- Story of a regular soldier doing his job, some people really do try harder and do the job to the best of their abilities which turns them into heroes without them knowing. A great story whether or not you agree with the politics of the war.

hegwerphoto rated 16 months ago- First of all, I completely support any overseas Troops. With that out of the way, I gave this a thumbs down, as the article got several facts wrong. It did make the CBS evening news (and morning show too), We do hear about the heros everry night on NPR. If it weren't for the big companies who paid $$$$ to get some of our political leaders in place, we probably wouldn't be in Iraq at all. Finding heros in a combat zone is what we are SUPPOSED to do. Everyday!

Xoria rated 16 months ago- From the page: "Maybe you'd like to hear about something other than idiot Reservists and naked Iraqis. Maybe you'd like to hear about a real American, somebody who honored the uniform he wears. Meet Brian Chontosh."

Roger06 rated 16 months ago- Hats off to this guy. A very brave marine who believes in freedom, for Americans and everyone else. Thank you.

dianapatriot11 rated 16 months ago- Thanks

evrana rated 23 months ago- Wow, beretta selflessly promotes "heroes", so that it can justify selling( no, silly me, borrow money from the society for our future safety) its products. Yes he is a hero, but did he really need to be? He was fighting against a nuclear threat, so where are the bombs? I salute him for his bravery, but I would like to learn his take on this war.
