kapax rated 4 months ago- I can name 25 reasons to keep using or to convert to Windows. But I will not because it is a wrong place and the topic is old and boring.

- And one reason not to: I have FreeBSD. :)
WikiKiba rated 25 months agolinux - reasons why you should switch to linux!
 andrew222 rated 35 months agolinux - For starters it's free... ;-)
Gravis rated 37 months agolinux, open-source - there were about 4 or 5 actual reasons, a couple lies and a hell of a lot of "supporting GPL software is makes you a better person" smug superiority bullshit. i wouldnt want to be associated with this page at all.
Toba rated 37 months agolinux - Nice article... except for #3. It's true, but only after a fashion. If you are friends with someone who is a longtime Linux user or are computer savvy enough to figure it out from the manuals, you're fine. Otherwise you'll never really understand how the whole system works.

- Ha, I laugh at reason #3: "High quality support for Linux is available for free on the Internet."
Are you crazy? Have you tried asking in an IRC channel, forum, or even your friend for help? All you'll get is something along the lines of RTFM or no response at all.
abadcaffeinetrip rated 37 months ago- #3 has got to be a joke. Have you ever asked a baic question about Lunix in any forum? You may get a valid response - in addition to the 50 responses from 15 year old "l33t hax0rs" calling you a noob. Linux snobs are so much worse than Windows or Mac ones.
