- I use to run the "Bounty Hunter" BBS back in Slidell, LA for a few years. The only newsgroups back then were on FidoNet - Loved those days!

- BBSs were awesome. I remember buying a 14.4 Kbps modem for my 386SX and calling up the local BBS. It was so cool. Those were the days... The Internet is not as community oriented as BBSs were.

- Back in the day there was only the BBS. The internet was only a glimmer on the tech horizon.
