- Douglas Adam's The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe 1984 text adventure game. I really liked the books and the BBC radio series and the BBC television series. I liked the sequel Disney movie. But the text game, once a "best seller", is a lot like writing an essay for a high school English teacher. The only way this could be considered "fun" is if you are sadomasochistic. It might be interesting to try this game just to see how boring "entertainment" was in 1984.

- HappyKindSuccess, the Hitchhiker's Guide is not American. And the film pretty much raped everything about the story. The TV series was better.
