- The elitism is thick and the moderation often childish and hypocritical. There are diamonds in the rough, but most topics are cluttered with jargon and unnecessarily large words that tend to muddy rather than clarify their message. If you're not part of the largely UK in-group don't expect to be treated with much respect.

- The good discussions are quite beard-stroking, but the bad ones are just full of overintellectualized discussions on matters nobody could possibly care about it, teeming with more decasyllabic (lol) obscure terminology than a medical journal.

- A subcluture forum which covers a lot of ground. Not very well laid out, but covers a lot of different topics. Covers a lot of Fortean ground which I always find interesting. There are a few really whacky ideas (of the "There is a council of nine aliens that rule the Earth through dolphins that communicate to us through our mitochondria etc etc" type) which will keep me amused :)
