I hate reading books on the computer, but I do completely support this idea. Most books I end up buying are ones that I'd seen a sample of first, and some of the best authors I've discovered were from books I picked up at a library sale.

I think it's ironic to have science fiction writers calling for jails and prisons for people that use the Internet to read their work. Orson Scott Card responded to computer games by making his own and publishing it in a magazine.
