putting that hatch to the basement in front of the stove like that is just asking to lose all your front teeth

LOL at Stepper, trying to sell cheesy particleboard stairs. The place is so-so, nice looking, but way too expensive for a 1 bedroom loft in Phoenix.

Very contemporary looking, although the stairs look very precarious. This builder should have used EZ Stairs http://www.ez-stairs.com to make some solid and safe, yet custom stairs.

This is mixed. sure, it looks nice, and I usually go for this sort of sleek "I'm so modern" style. But consider this- The flooring will do nothing to soften the place, heating and cooling will be a horrible job, and it's in Phoenix: bubble central. The value will plunge once you've bought it, and you'll be stuck in a city that hardly anyone will want to live and work in.
