    While these tips are good, I'd warn anybody considering some/all of them to remember their core business. It's really easy to get caught up in marketing exercises on social media sites, blogs, forums and even StumbleUpon, and some people may forget that these things are supposed to be a means to an end.

    IMHO, before "branding" must come having a believable, genuine identity to brand, and somewhere along the line that will require mucho sweat equity. These tips can be like dessert for after you wipe that sweat from your brow. My favorite: "Respect yourself, it's contagious"
