- Detroit automakers should stew in their own blood. Whose fault is it you lost money? OURS!?
 scott-torino rated 2 months ago- Until someone realizes that Free Trade isn't Free than unfortunately there is NO point in dumping more money into uncompetitive auto companies. We cannot compete with the lower Labor costs of the foreign automakers. Even Domestically Honda and Toyota do not use UAW Labor and don't have to deal with that expense. Until we believe in tariffs and not in Magic book keeping where we jsut ask the Fed to print more money we are in serious shit.

- I love that they gripe about American auto makers. I'm glad I'm not alone in this, it really pisses me off that I can't afford a new, decent American car. Hell, because of the high tariffs on Foriegn cars, I can't afford one of them either. It all stems down to the indept American car makers. Blah.
