i am impressed with her undertaking of this *problem* ... i DO believe that humans have helped speed the process of earth's heating with carbon emissions, but i also believe it is part of the change's that everything goes through .... at the time the first *note* of the greenhouse effect ... the earth was warming up after the little ice age (lasted about 500 years) .... if ya get the chance take a look at the pbs special on that subject .... we have the little ice age to thank for beer and hard liquor (grapes wouldn't grow in northern europe during this period so the humans had to concoct other beverages due to lack of water purification techniques ... and the u.s.a. has the little ice age to thank for her independence (when was the last time the delaware froze to the degree that washington needed to undertake his suprise attack?) ... going back to medieval times, no daymn way humans could have withstood a lot of heat in those metal contraptions called armour .... so should we do all we can to create a better enviroment? of course we should ..... can we change the way the earth is evolving? hmph! not even I CAN DO THAT!!!! ; )

I must say that I feel the same lack of enthusiasm this year about the Summer Olympics as this blogger. Good reading :)

I usually try to avoid watching the Olympics anyway, but this year I will be making sure none shows up on my television.
