- its aways fun the change the Epson Replacement Ink Maintenance Tank on the 7600 at work. that think is a lot heaver then when you put it in.

origin415 rated 3 months ago- Epson printers (as shown) are huge culprits for the "disposable printer". Their printers are dirt cheap, but their ink is pretty much just under the cost of a new printer. They get you hooked the same way cell phone companies do: get this phone for cheap!! (as long as you sign our 2 year contract).

- This is good know about, but the guy clearly isn't hip to the fact that Epson printers, like the one he had, can beat lab printers hands down. Sure, it'd be nice if inkjet printers could blast air through their nozzles, but it also would be nice to not get reamed every time you run out of ink. That's where inkjets will get you. But on the flip side, what are you going to do when you really need some excellent digital pictures printed? Probably going to succumb to an expensive and wasteful inkjet...
Keep your eyes peeled for Zero Ink printing though, it seems promising on many fronts, but has yet to be released. - This is good know about, but the guy clearly isn't hip to the fact that Epson printers, like the one he had, can beat lab printers hands down. TonyBroomfield rated 3 months ago- Excellent look at built in obsolescence, and just another confirmation that big business is running us, when it SHOULD be the other way round

MrHandyDan rated 3 months ago- Yeah. Dirty little secret of the printer industry. I just checked. My printer has one on these things, too.
