- Some of them I would say were blatant ripoffs, but others I would say were just catchy tunes that might have just been a coincidence.

- A good website, the songs do sound similar.. all of them do. I like that it adds the song samples incase you havent heard the song before.

- Very neat page listing songs that sound the same... I would claim that there was a lot of plagiarism going on if I could spell that. Seriously though, I don't think these are all outright copies. I read a letter to the editor of Rolling Stone from wsay back and the guy was theorizing how there's just not enough notes for people to be coming up with truly new songs anymore.

- Amazing to hear how similar some of these really sound. I've ALWAYS thought that about Oasis and Neil Innes. Always a Bonzo and Rutles fan. Oasis can go and take a running jump off a Beatles back catalogue.

- At this site, you can listen to two songs, side by side, and see how extremely similar they are. I never realized how many there are! Some of them have an amazingly similar beat, and the only thing that is changed are the words!
