Almost beyond my ability or imagination to comprehend! And here many of us think we're alone in a world that is unique. Perhaps we are......just as many, many others... Makes Genesis 1:1 pretty tiny, doesn't it? Thanks to Tres http://tresenglish.stumbleupon.com/ for this one.

Over 20 years ago, Scientific American published a volume called "Powers of 10". It is one of a couple of handfulls of books, events, and ideas that have changed my life. This is an online version of much less than half of the same thing. Not NEARLY as compelling - but good, never-the-less.
