quinnte rated 6 weeks ago- whatever you need to sleep at night.

jrminoh rated 8 weeks ago- True. I never could understand this whole concept. Yet I hear it alot.

davenme rated 8 weeks ago- Sadly there are a lot of people really like this.

SurtyrFoesmasher rated 2 months ago- Apparently I am the only commenter who lives in a predominantly fundamentalist christian area, because this kind of stuff is said daily around me. Every single event that happens in a fundamentalist christians life is directly caused by GOD's intervention. Straw man arguments don't even come into play. For the fundamentalist it is simple: When good things happen to you, no matter how it is caused, then GOD is on your side, but if bad things happen to you that means GOD has let Satan take control for a while to teach you a lesson. You can not believe me all you want, but this IS the doctrine of the majority of fundamentalist and evangelical christians.

patoloco rated 2 months ago- For the love of jeebus.....The only point made was the one on the top of your head.

BCampione rated 2 months ago- A nice example of the futility of logic in a world centered on a fairy tale.

He11Kn1ght rated 2 months ago- Now presenting "Gods Plan" where people die to save another life that he put in danger!

aUser rated 2 months ago- I thought this might be considered a straw man argument, but realized that I've heard people say very similar things. There's nothing inherently wrong in this sort of thinking, but it seems to somewhat detract from the efforts and accomplishments of countless individuals and of the advancements in the scientific community. The belief itself also seems to stray from logic.

Neoscryer rated 2 months ago- So true. Also, Edwinpeng, try not to ruin Atheists' reputation, mmm'kay? Respect Christians' beliefs IF they respect yours. If not, fuck them.
