shrike96 rated 21 months ago- Don't knock it before you try it. Most people who rip on astrology don't realize there's an entire world of astrology beyond the newspaper horoscope column. Any respectable astrologer who even remotely aspires to become a professional will admit that the newspaper daily columns are junk, meant to entertain. Professional astrology has come quite a long way in the last 100 years, leaving behind the strict pessimistic image of an inescapable future, to be replaced by a humanistic approach inspired by psychology (Jung was said to never take a client on without first casting a natal chart.) The AFA is a professional organization with strict guidelines and rigorous entrance examinations.
