- nice workaround, i guess, but i'm still not buying an ipod until they design one for free use.

- Step 1: Don't buy an iPod. I have an Archos player and I can manage my files using Windows Explorer, etc. It will work on any computer without any software, and I can take it friends' houses and share files to and from it.
