- I've had a problem like this with a laptop before. The screen had exactly the same problem. I was told that "there was no way that could happen" and I "must have dropped it". I didn't, but I still had to pay for the repair. :(

- ha, i love how the comments on the page are all like "yea,, this was just one bad experience..best buy is ok" compared to what the writer wanted "OMG I WONT BUY THERE ANYMORE!!" ha!

- Wah wah wah, cry me a river and then drown yourself in it. Oh noes, terrible customer service! Oh noes, horrible return/refund policies! Oh noes, just substitute another company name in place of Best Buy, and then what do you have? A WHOLE NEW WHINY STORY THAT I STILL WON'T CARE ABOUT.

- eBay is a thousand times worse. They intentionally coddle forgers, fences, and shillers. At least the shit at best buy wasn't stolen from some guys car. However, bestbuy is indeed tripe. I got a giftcard from them for xmas and it was a worthless gift.

- Gojo: He probably put XP on it over Vista. I did a similar thing with my laptop when I bought it (As a Computer Science major at Georgia Tech, I get free Operating Systems). However, this story convinced me (along with a personal experience) to never buy from Best Buy. If I need a laptop, I'm going to Fry's. If I need a desktop, I build it myself.
