The subject matter interests me greatly, but the trailer seems like it's panic-mongering and kind of melodramatic. I do get the feeling that the dramatic music isn't actually in the movie. I'm interested in seeing this, I think.

An Inconvenient Truth Eloquently weaves the science of global warming with Al Gore's personal history and lifelong commitment to reversing the effects of global climate change. A longtime advocate for the environment, Gore presents a wide array of facts and information in a thoughtful and compelling way. The film is not a story of despair but rather a rallying cry."

A New movie about Global Warming called: An Inconvenient Truth. "Eloquently weaves the science of global warming with Al Gore's personal history and lifelong commitment to reversing the effects of global climate change. A longtime advocate for the environment, Gore presents a wide array of facts and information in a thoughtful and compelling way. The film is not a story of despair but rather a rallying cry." People are into movies. This a great way to get people thinking a little and talking about this issue. Why do we people make fun of Al Gore so much? He seems to me like a great guy whose got a few brains. We all would have been a whole lot better off if 2000 had been a bit different.

Al Gore is developing a full-length film addressing the concerns of global warming. Its about time that these issues become forefront in American households, as something we can all consciously help to prevent with a little effort. More information about global warming (this is a kid's site, but still quite informative and accessable. Plus its colorful!) Also, this quiz measures your impact on the environment and what small measures you can do to improve

Thank the gods there's someone in America who a) cares and b) can do something about it. Mind you, he still didn't mention the countries that have it a lot worse than the states...

Quite frankly, I wouldn't care if G.W. himself hosted this movie, it has a message to give and everyone needs to hear it. Global Warming has begun. We need to take steps now.
