- First, @Zantazm, most of the incorrect spelling was copied directly from Yahoo Answers.
Second, @Timbo, Piracy, unless you specify a specific type, IS stealing. File-sharing is NOT stealing. There is a difference between piracy and file-sharing. Piracy also includes the guys who shoot RPGs at luxury cruises and steal valuables from the people on board. Don't go around just saying "Piracy isn't stealing".

The problem with your Porsche analogy is this. If you steal a car there is a physical loss. Copying a song would be like pointing a magical gun at the Porsche and having a exact copy magically created. Then you have your car and the original owner didn't lose anything, including a lose of revenue because you didn't have the money to buy it even if you hadn't gotten a free copy."

They probably hear all the news about torrenters being taken down. The news wants you to believe that EVERYONE who torrents is arrested and fined stupid amounts for every song in their library. Its kinda like smoking... if you smoke you will get CANCER. They should just release the statistics on both. If people actually saw what percents were getting hit I think more would smoke and torrent. Tho dont smoke cuz you will get CANCER. SHIT the news propaganda machine got me again and I stopped thinking for myself and started taking their opinion as my own.
And all you dorks who think you can punish him by spamming his "email" autzenmaven@yahoo.com... only my parents use yahoo. And besides reading into his words its fairly clear his main email isnt his user name. (gasp different emails for different purposes?!?!)
