I am not anti-capitalistic. I, personally, believe that the market should be as free as possible but should have as many regulations that are needed to prevent the rich from dominating the destitute. What I find particularly funny about the reviews of this page is that at least ½ of the thumbs... more

There was a time when I would have thumbed this up, when I thought about politics and economics in a very uninformed, superficial way and believed all the propaganda embedded into my pop-culture. After waking up and learning about the philosophy of liberty and individual rights, I learned to see through this bullshit. It is only through government intervention in the free market that monopolies are made possible. Privatize the profits and socialize the debt, that's what they do to us nowadays.

A dreadful economic system that must be replaced by something co-operative, compassionate and kind. Anything short of that, and it's goodbye humanity...

Not an accurate depiction! Those at the "bottom" have elected those at the "top" to represent them. There is indeed a problem in this day and age, because the people see this pyramid as being accurate when the constitution makes it clear that the elected officials are the "servants" of the people and it was never intended for it to be the other way around. The people have lost their power because of guys and gals thinking like Landerik22... he thinks regulating the rich will solve his problems, when all along the problem has been to much regulation and intervention by government. The people simply need to take back their country and run it themselves. Realize it or not; everything is messed up, from banking to immigration, because of government mismanagement. Everything the government runs is dysfunctional because of those in office putting their agenda ahead of the peoples. You helped put them in office now help get them out! WE were never intended to be a "Democracy". Say the pledge of allegiance... "The Republic for which it stands..." Are you waking up yet? As for the "Survival of the fittest" concept... The laws of nature overrule the laws of man every time. You can not help but be part of the food chain! You are in it up to your eyeballs, perhaps that is why you can not see what is going on right in front of you. PhilD

Great review landerik22! As for my personal opinion, this is some of the best of political satire. It not only points to capitalism, but it also points to religion and war. These operate in a way, which divides and oppresses the working and under classes in society. Born into the working class, I understand those all too well.

Thumbs up for promise, even though the current picture more accurately depicts the feudal system than the capitalist system. Then again, I'm from a socialist country and I like it, so I could simply be mistaken.

An entire domain name like anti-capitalist.org taken up by a single image. What a waste of internets.
