imaginif rated 13 months ago- I wish I could wash the world of injustice and suffering as Anita Roddick tried to. Her contribution towards equality and the eradication of domestic violence have not been overlooked. To her family, my condolences and than you for sharing your Mum with the world.
scattyone rated 31 months ago- Wouldnt normally bother to do the thumbs done bit, however with the possible sale of Body shop to L'Oreal I feel I have no choice.
L'Oreal won't change The Body Shop's core values (environment, human rights, fair trade, etc
But its my guess they wont change thier own policies either ! Im not happy !

naught101 rated 24 months ago- Roddick got rich exploiting people - usually stupid white westerners, but that's still exploitation. selling out to L'oreal proves to me that she was always in it for the money, not the politics. body shop only ever took a political stance when it was forced to by it's customers.
read "No Logo" by Naomi Klein for some more info.
grudknows rated 35 months ago- A passionate woman who knows how to have her say and protest peacefully and creatively.
angelclare rated 34 months ago- Always have to hold my nose when I read about business, but surely Anita Roddick (The Body Shop) is the most ethical woman -or person- in business.
