    Oh, Wow! This site, and its's Companion, Rootsweb.com, are ABSOLUTE MUSTS for the Roots Digger-Upper! Even if you do not join the pay part. They are adding new records daily, and making improvements to the site, and how it can be used. I first discovered it years ago, but was ill equiped, information-wise, and skills wise, to really do much. In the last year that has changed. I pay $19.95 a month for access, and boy is it worth it! I've found Birth, and Death Ceritificates, and relevant Census Records, that have both helped solve Brick Walls, and added new Mysteries, a Passenger list with the name of my immigrant Father, and...tonite, Owensboro KY, City Directories from 1901/02, 1937, 1939, 1941, 1943, 1945, and 1948, with my ancestors listed in them. How freakin' cool is THAT? ;-D

    Since I don't live in the same state as my ancestors, this site is awesome. I paid for a month subscription for $20- and within that month I found so much information, besides being allowed to keep the images on my computer- I did not have to pay for microfilm, or try to photocopy an ancient book. They are constantly getting new records, so check back regularly.

    I love this site. It helped me with making my family tree more complete. I join it for a month a year, and that gives me all the time I need to gather the latest information so the price isn't bad. ;)

    This is really good if you don't want to leave your house and want to spend hours going through all this information. Thank you Mormons! I like looking at the census records.I found an ancestor who sailed from Honolulu to San Francisco on November 11, 1927(from the shipping records)

    You can visit the lds centers ,we have one of the biggest collections-free.PS we will not bother you on church stuff.If you are lucky to have any mormons in your family .loads of work may already be there.

    Too expensive, but can certainly find leads for your own research.
