I don't know about the USA but here in the UK speed limits are placed for good reason. Nobody arbitrarily slaps numbers on signs; every curve in the road, each house or school, the possibility of oncoming traffic, hill gradient, even average weather are taken into consideration as well as much more. Also... if everyone drove at different speeds on the same roads it would just cause immense traffic jams then everyone's doing 5mph! Author, perhaps you should spend less time writing crap and more time gathering contraception because we actually need people like you out of the gene pool!
