From the page: "From 2001 - 2004, the Obamas gave less than 1% of the $1.2 million they earned. The next few years, they increased their charitable giving to around 5% as they began to earn more money, but it hardly comes close to the level of giving they were advocating these students to undertake. And most of their charitable giving went to their church, Trinity United, the church with the anti-American Rev. Jeremiah Wright as former minister."

Didn't these morons spend a better part of 8 months bitching about Obama's charity work for ACORN? Now he's a hypocrite because he asks charity of others.

i'm shocked and dismayed that actual living people are unable to see the blatant lying in this article. obama urges students to direct their careers towards the collective good, such as engineers focusing on green technology or teachers working at in-need schools, and the author spins, simplifies and overgeneralizes that to mean 'give to charity', 'work for non-profits' and 'dont wear expensive shoes'. the obamas werent saying any of those things. barack obama did do what he urges the students to: he's a harvard-educated lawyer who instead of pursuing that path used his knowledge of constitutional law to become a major chicago political organizer before going into politics. i hope one day some of you will become capable of thinking instead of just absorbing information, but i fear the human lifespan is too short. this reviews page seals the deal: bodhi1 uses his make-believe hypocrisy to accuse liberals as a group of hypocrisy. it adds up, though, since i have no idea why the conservative politics and liberal politics tags exist, except as a way for people posting under them to avoid criticism. this may be an indicator of how shallow and fragile their beliefs are.

From the page: "Before we delve into this bad advice, why don't we take a look at how much the Obamas give back? From 2001 â€" 2004, the Obamas gave less than 1% of the $1.2 million they earned. The next few years, they increased their charitable giving to around 5% as they began to earn more money, but it hardly comes close to the level of giving they were advocating these students to undertake. And most of their charitable giving went to their church, Trinity United, the church with the anti-American Rev. Jeremiah Wright as former minister. Michelle Obama also has been perfectly happy to live the elitist lifestyle, volunteering while wearing $540 shoes, sneering last year at how little the $600 stimulus checks could buy. Meanwhile, she's telling people to give up lucrative careers in order to go into community service. " My thoughts: Do as I say not as I do. I believe that might even be in the Bible!? NOT!

Great look at how the Obama's say one thing and do another, just like most liberals.
