This is a pretty nice read from someone that looks to know both sides of the debate (downloader, and from someone who makes the music).

This actually seems like a sensible look at the downloading of music, and it's coming right from a label.
(Just for the record, I download almost all of my music off of The Pirate Bay or, if I can't get it from there, I get it from my friend. I then send a few (if not more than a few) dollars to whatever label I just downloaded music from.)

THIS is how music should be sold.

As for the people complaining this guy sounds condescending or patronizing: I don't think so, they're just trying to make money there and they'll want to use whichever words sell the best... and I guess that tone might actually work with quite a few people. Even if it didn't, I think the best thing about this label is the attitude. That attitude works better in the future than the current one of the major labels.

This is a nice read from a label to consumers...I hope to see the fruits of all of this back and forth with the corporate music industry.
