From the page: "C would be Judaism - it's old and restrictive, but most of the world is familiar with its laws and respects them. The catch is, you can't convert into it - you're either into it from the start, or you will think that it's insanity. Also, when things go... more

Si la programación fuese una religión.

This is the worst similie I've ever seen made of programming languages- and I've tried to summate many of them myself. C is not Islam. C can hardly be compared to a religion. Religion is foolish and restricting to say the least, while C allows for new code to be written to expand what it can do. They are if anything opposites. Java is flexible; Christianity is often simply ignored the rules of for convenience's sake. I know this, having been a Christian for some time before I saw what it was doing to me. I could go on and on with many of these stupid, pointless, horrid attempts at trying to relate programming languages to what is basically the antithesis of the concept, but suffice it to say this: those who gave this page a thumbs up have clearly either never programmed or don't see the horrid wrong being done here. This is, as the religious zealots would say, blasphemy. As I mentioned before, religion's means are to restrict and only offer one answer to everything when there are actually many, while programming languages offer many solutions to achieve the same goal, only one of which is optimally correct. They are nothing alike, and work towards opposite ends.

Nice, but I think some of those comparisons were a bit shoehorned. Not that I'm going to scrutinize it or anything. :P

...moving right along from "If programming languages were cars..." Funny and true. Illustrated by a few of the reviews . "You're an idiot if you think it's restricted (C)" Guess what ? It is, but that person hasn't had a challenge in a while...lol on the additions too! Only one a little off is Ruby-it's followers are the zealous humanists =Python. The comments add to the lulz. Beware the antiCmites.

From the page: "C would be Judaism - it's old and restrictive" Go die. It may be old but you're an idiot if you think it's restricted.
